As the weather grows cooler and days are slower, we are reminded of the new beginnings and opportunities for growth that come our way. 

Let Us Pray, Dear Lord, you have blessed us with the changing of the seasons. As we embrace the autumn months, may the earlier setting of the sun remind us to take time to rest. May the brilliant colors of the leaves remind us of the wonder of your creation. May the harvest from the fields remind us of the abundance we have been given and bounty we are to share with others. May the dying of summer's spirit remind us of your great promise that death is temporary and life is eternal. We thank you for the gift of new beginnings. In darker hours, be our source of light and comfort to guide us through each day. We pray for this in the name of all that is good and holy, Amen.

Reminder: Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day
On Thursday, November 14, Notre Dame will be participating in Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day! To participate, meet at City Hall at 7:20 a.m. to grab a beanie or bracelet and join us as we walk together to replicate Ruby's historic walk. All students are invited to wear purple with uniform bottoms and join us in Pardini during lunch. For those that would like to make posters to carry during our walk, Ms. Fitz will be hosting a poster making party on Tuesday, November 12 during Staff Collab in the ASB workroom (SLC 106) - snacks will be included.

Pit Auditions for Legally Blonde
Audition to be part of the pit (the students who provide musical accompaniment for the actors on stage) for the spring musical, Legally Blonde. Auditions are December 17 and 18 from 3:10 - 4:00 p.m. in the Music Room (SLC 117). JW House Fundraiser Today - Gong Cha
JW House, an organization comprised of ND and Bellarmine leaders committed to providing a home away from home for families facing medical crises, is hosting a fundraiser at Gong Cha. Come downtown today, Wednesday, November 13 between 3-5 p.m. to enjoy a delicious drink, drop your receipts in the bin, and 20% of your purchase will be donated to support the families of hospitalized patients.

ND Belize Trip - June 2025
Interested in a STEM-centered trip to explore the ecosystems in Belize? We still have space for students to join our trip in June 2025.  The trip will include a visit to the rainforest to learn about the ethnobiological connections between people and the land, a visit to a sustainable farm to learn about the connections between land management and impact on both rainforests and reefs, and a visit to the largest Coral reef in the western hemisphere to survey and monitor coral grow and the manatee population. To learn more about the trip and to enroll, click here. The price is projected to go up on 12/1, but will be locked in if you sign up before then. Student Parking Information
Due to the limited number of parking spaces available in the ND/280 faculty and staff parking lot, spaces will be allocated to seniors only via a lottery system for each semester. Underclass students and seniors who did not receive a space in the lot have the following parking options:
     - Find free, on-street parking on the surface streets around campus
     - Park in the City of San Jose's I280/First Street parking lot and either pay the $5 daily rate at the kiosks in the lot or purchase monthly passes through the City of San Jose
Students in the class of 2025 can enter the lottery for their senior year via this form.

Class Ring Information
Browse the digital catalog of class ring offerings on the Herff Jones website! Rings can be ordered online for students of all grade levels and turn-around time from production to shipping is approximately 5-6 weeks. Please email Mike Rabago (mrabago@herffjones.com) with any questions.
