Notre Dame Students Shine in Winter Performances

Drama and Dance Showcase

Notre Dame’s theater and dance students delivered two unforgettable performances, showcasing creativity, talent and social awareness.

The Advanced Drama Winter Showcase brought together Advanced Drama, Beginning Drama and Thespian student-directed one-acts for a compelling evening of entertainment and thought-provoking themes. Audiences enjoyed multiple one-act plays, including an original scene by Advanced Drama that explored academic pressures and daily microaggressions faced by ND students, encouraging deep reflection.

One-Act: This is Not a Test

Meanwhile, dancers from the Dance class, Regent Collective Dance Company (RCDC) and across campus captivated viewers with their art-in-motion performances in Gallery Walk. Against a backdrop of famous art pieces, the dancers transformed iconic masterpieces into stunning choreography, blending visual and performing arts into a breathtaking display.

Both shows owed much of their success to the hard work of the Technical Theater Team, whose seamless lighting and sound brought every scene and movement to life. Their behind-the-scenes expertise truly made the magic happen.

These performances are a testament to the talent and collaboration within Notre Dame's vibrant arts community.
