The Class of 2025 celebrated the beginnings of their senior year, by gathering in Pardini Park for their Senior Sunrise. The Basilisks arrived on campus as early as 6:30 a.m. to enjoy coffee, bagels, donuts, and more. They wore their pajamas ranging from hoodies and sweatpants to animal onesies!

Pardini Park was filled with lively music, the smell of breakfast and photo opportunities as the seniors bonded while watching the sunrise.

The Basilisks also participated in creating themselves a crown, a popular Notre Dame tradition for Senior Sunrise. Golden crowns were displayed on tables along with gems and other decorations.

Lupita ’25 shares, “Getting to make little crowns and being able to wear our PJs will remind us in the future of all the fun that we had. I can’t wait to make more memories with my friends and classmates.”

Senior Sunrise and its activities have always been an anticipated event for seniors, many Basilisks remember being excited about the tradition even as Freshmen.

“I’ve always been excited for Senior Sunrise because it's a special tradition at ND. It's a perfect way to start my final year and create lasting memories with my friends,” Isabella ’25 expresses.

As photos were snapped and laughter filled the air, Senior Sunrise became one for the books for the Basilisks. It gave the class a chance to come together and bond before they graduate in June. Now that their Senior year has officially kicked off, the Class of 2025 can’t wait for more exciting events to make their high school experience unforgettable.
