ND Board Member Term: July 2023 - June 2026

Kathy, an educator for over 38 years in the Diocese of San Jose, led the
Catholic elementary and secondary schools from 2009 – 2018. She has also been a
consultant to school and parent groups advising them on the importance of choosing
appropriate governance systems for their school. Kathy was on the Board of
Directors for the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics at Santa Clara University for 10
years and is now contributing as a Senior Fellow to the Center.

Kathy is retired, belongs to two book clubs, is a member of a parish outreach team,
and enjoys gardening and yard work. The happiest times for her are when she is with
her daughters and her grandchildren. Kathy and her husband, Ed, met in Germany
over 50 years ago when he was a helicopter pilot and she was teaching on an Army
post.
