Eileen is currently General Partner of Black Opal Ventures, a female minority led venture capital fund investing in early stage technology companies. She formerly was Managing Director for In-Q-Tel, the not for profit venture capital partner for the US intelligence community and her allies. Eileen Tanghal and her husband own franchises of the CoderSchool, an afterschool enrichment program.

In her spare time, Eileen enjoys learning languages, travelling and investing in real estate. Her children Alex and Lily keep her busy most days.
