Excitement is in the air as The Janksters, Notre Dame’s robotics team, debut their 2026 robot, Elsa, for their first competition of the season. Their demonstration of teamwork earned them the Spirit Award along with individual awards achieved by Zara ’28 and Ipsa ’27, who received the Safety All Star Award, and Clarina ’27, who won the District Championship FIRST Leadership Semi-Finalist Award!
For the first time, Notre Dame introduced a full weeklong Winter Break. Marissa '26 reflects on how the break created space for students to pause during a busy semester. The additional time provided moments for renewal, family connection, and reflection.
In just their second year, Notre Dame San Jose’s Mock Trial team earned a top-four finish at the Santa Clara County Competition. With a flawless 4–0 start and a semifinal appearance, this young program is already making its mark. The future looks bright for these rising legal minds.
On Friday, Jan. 23, Notre Dame held their annual Diversity Showcase & Night Market. With more than 500 guests and 120 performers in attendance, our community came together to support our student-run businesses and celebrate our culture and creativity at ND.
