More Than 170 Years of Tradition
In the midst of a rapidly changing world, Notre Dame's spirit and traditions remain. Whether donning crazy costumes for Spirit Week, walking downtown to attend mass, or swaying arm-in-arm while singing the alma mater, generations of women have upheld these traditions and called Notre Dame home.
Unique Downtown Experience
A Notre Dame education extends well beyond the footprint of our downtown San Jose campus, out into the tenth largest city in the United States and the thriving center of Silicon Valley.
For the first time in team history, the Janksters were recognized with the Impact Award at the Contra Costa District Event. This automatically qualifying the team for the District Championship, where they made a strong showing among 60 Northern California teams.
As we prepare to welcome the Class of 2030, a Notre Dame senior looks back on her emotions and outlook on the day she received her admissions letter.
Notre Dame’s theater students made an impressive showing at the California State Thespian Festival, highlighted by the prestigious Honor Troupe title and standout individual achievements. Congratulations to the students who showcased their talent, passion, and dedication on a statewide stage.
Excitement is in the air as The Janksters, Notre Dame’s robotics team, debut their 2026 robot, Elsa, for their first competition of the season. Their demonstration of teamwork earned them the Spirit Award along with individual awards achieved by Zara ’28 and Ipsa ’27, who received the Safety All Star Award, and Clarina ’27, who won the District Championship FIRST Leadership Semi-Finalist Award!
